I’m suprised at how much hate Tony Moran gets just because he doesn’t go on and on giving respect to Castle and Wallace. He doesn’t totally acknowledge that they wasn’t in the film and he was the one, only playing Michael.

Talking about how he got into the role just for a face revealing I thought was cool. Went 2 days without a shower and no sleep. He killed the face reveal. Who else could do better scary looking face and really look like Michael Myers or at least very close to what the mask represented.

I’m sorry to hear that. I thought he just like to cut up, cuss and laugh. I really didn’t think he such a ass to his fans. That sucks

This is true and when I met him, he also made himself out to be Myers in the whole movie

The whole part about 2 days without a shower and no sleep is total BS. Where did you hear this? Nick Castle, Tommy Lee Wallace and even Carpenter himself have all said "the guy (Tony Moran) just got hired, come on set, did his scene and left. His whole scene lasts 5 seconds lol.

He seems nice in the YouTube videos but I guess meeting him in person and the cameras aren’t rolling makes for a different experience. That’s what happen with Mickey Rooney. They said when the cameras wasn’t rolling he was a complete asshole.

Tony’s face is so mean looking it really goes hand an hand with what the Boogeyman looks like under the mask. Really makes the movie feel even darker.

Nick Castle wasn’t always cool. At 30 YOT he slipped in and tried to pass for TLW’s nobody-friend like there wasn’t a thousand people or more there who knew exactly who he was and thought of it as a cool surprise. As he has embraced his Halloween heritage a bit more lately, he seems to be much more friendly. The second time I met him at Detroit Comic Con, he was very welcoming and kind.

As for Tony Moran, I can totally see his face as the real face of The Shape, although the unmasking scene is my least favorite, probably from all the people I’ve known who see the swollen eye and confuse it with Jason’s deformities.

Eh I think we should go easy on him… we all have tendencies to talk ourselves up from time to time. By now he’s an old man without too much under his belt acting-wise, he really feels the need to play up the little he’s done. If he had the honest personality/mentality of, “I was only the shape for 3 seconds… no stunts, no stalking, but those 3 seconds is one of my life’s biggest blessings,” he’d probably be at the top of most’s list of H1 torch bearers.
