What do you guys think about the recent news that TOTS is gonna produce Halloween 2018 masks from the screen used mold this year?

Excited to hear that the screen-used mold is being used, and that means it could possibly be around for a while. If it’s as amazing as it’s being hyped up to be, it needs to be saved. But TOTS quality isn’t the greatest. Imagine JC converting a TOTS mask

Hoping it turns out as good as Cinema Secrets’ H8. That mask had previously unseen levels of sculpt detail, hair and paintwork in the mass produced market (and that was 16 years ago now). There doesn’t seem to be a reason that ToTs can’t put something similar out on the market in today’s world. I’m really hoping for some kind of optional type of collector’s edition with a COA

I hope that they do better on hairing the new mask though. The hair on my H2 along with alot of ones out there is hideous and really fully of bald spots lol. Still curious to see it regardless and may have to pick one up myself!!

The first runs seem to be the best chances of snagging one with a good finish/hair job.
Over time it seems to drop off, due to whatever reasons. Hope to snatch up one of the preorders once available.

ToTs posted the news on their facebook account yesterday afternoon. They said that they are making them now. If I’m understanding it correctly, it is a bit different from their usual process - in the past they’ve posted a pic of their new masks around January and then they’ve taken preorders before the various masks went into production for an August/September delivery - if they’re actually making the mask now, before any possible orders (pre-orders or otherwise) maybe they’ll be available very soon, possibly in time for this Fall and the release of the movie.
if its the original mask made to look old school. Think of it prolly similar to a loose meat snadwhich lol. all ripped up.
But I have to be honest and please dont hate me for saying this. I get so turned off sometimes with Trick or treat studios because of the mean and arrogant guy who runs that company Chris Zephro. I heard he is just an absolute mean guy and bashes other smaller private mask makers. Is this true?
Unfortunately there are probably like 4 people who will answer this question publicly, so your best bet is to do your own research on that one
