You’ve all made valid points I agree with. It sounds like they want to go the route of making Corey the new Michael to carry on the series. Like “hey it’s the end of a trilogy and we’re gonna piss off the fans of the OG but it’s time to move on and open the door for a new killer”. What? No. Please don’t let this be how they end it. They could do that with an entire new series. They could just start it up with a new copycat obsessed killer. Also think about every Halloween movie or trailer you have ever seen and you hear someone say, scream or whisper “Michael!” and you think yep that’s our boy. Now imagine it as “Corey!” LOL. And THE Michael is able to withstand pain, doesn’t speak, and survive what should be fatal injuries. Now some young chatty Corey will be able to do all that now?
I keep hoping that this is just them all trolling us to keep the real movie leaks safe and it’s all a joke and I’ll eat my words after I see it. I’m glad it’s streaming. Movie talkers have ruined theaters for me so I’ve stopped that all together but if HE sucks at least I didn’t blow $50.
Anyone ever find out what the whole deal was over the radio tower that was going around a while back? None of the leaks have addressed its significance that I have seen.
Copycat killers never work in the long run. The character will be a one and done if they do go that route no matter how much they leave open for a sequel. In a few years Michael will be back in a new reimagining, reboot, remake or whatever “re” is en vogue that year.
I actually like that new tv spot trailer better than I did the first one. Anyone else notice how DGG made the “feels too Christine” comment and Corey Cunningham closely resembles Arnie Cunningham lol. Especially with the glasses.

I have been trying to find the original art to make into a meme
A couple things that have bothered me about the supposed spoilers and the trailer.
In the trailer a 60+ year old JLC can supposedly tussle with a superhumanly strong and durable Michael and headbutting him backwards (her facing away from him) stuns him momentarily.
-The first issue with the headbutt is the complete lack of momentum and impact it would have swinging your head front to back, you compound that with a 60+ year old lady doing it against a superhuman entity and it just goes against all logic that that would work.
-The second issue is that the back of the head is the most vulnerable part of your skull, using it for impact is a good way to at the least daze yourself, if not concuss and knock yourself out.
If the rumors are true and Michael is in some weakened state and needs to be fed kills…
-Why is he in this state when he was at his strongest for this version of Michael in this timeline at the end of Kills?
-Why would he be weak even going 4 years without any kills when from '63 to '78 there were 15 years between them and he was supernaturally strong and invulnerable in the original Halloween, and then between '78 and 2018 he went 40 years without any kills yet was able to take inhuman levels of damage and was strong enough to squash a man’s head like a Gallagher to a watermelon among other feats of strength in 2018 alone never mind Kills? It just feels like that rumor defies even the internal logic of the previous two entries.
Because JLC wants to show off her “Strong Female Character” JJC is literally older than her and he could still physically break her back by punching it out if Michael was him in his height, size and age, and then some, in the BTS Footage, JLC even has said that “These movies are exactly like the original”
