I just got home from seeing it, feel free to ask me any questions! It was okay. I thought it was going to be really bad. It wasn’t that bad but I didn’t like how they portrayed Michael and he was barely in the film. Most of the spoilers previously posted were correct. And there is no coming back from how they killed him unless a future Halloween film is rebooted from a previous film and doesn’t include the trilogy.
So he does get tossed into the car shredder? does Laurie go with him?
The real Michael is barely in the movie and they portray him as a weak old man. Corey wrestles with him and was able to overpower him and take his mask. Then the final showdown with Laurie is a joke. It doesn’t last very long and this old lady is able to take down Michael pretty easily. This is the guy who took out a whole mob in Kills! It was a joke. Should’ve at least been an EPIC all time showdown, even if Laurie wins. Also, he is definitively killed (body dumped in car shredder after having his throat slashed, wrist slashed, and some other stab wounds) and there is NO coming back from how he dies. The only way we can ever see the real Michael again is if they reboot the series in the future from a previous film and ignore the trilogy. And, no, Laurie of course lives with minimal injuries since she was able to defeat him so easily and finishes writing her memoir. The last shot in the movie is of Michael’s mask on a table in her office.
Series just went downhill after H18 > Kills > Ends. Think 99.9% would agree.
The fans should have directed the movie. Do these Hollywood people even understand what the fans want?? Don’t they watch the previous movies and understand what’s good and what is crap? What works and what doesn’t? Gee wiz.

im not going to see it. after the 2015 Star Wars film I decided I was done with that franchise forever and after kills as well as reading these spoilers, I can say for certain Im done with Myers films. I just dont have any interest.

EXACTLY. Cater to someone’s ego and insecurities rather than honor the source material and this is the garbage you get. This could very well go down as THE greatest insult to the Myers legacy on record. Resurrection just went up the ladder a notch. Last place has a new champ.

Well the Michael Myers fan that I am I went back and watch that video laugh out loud I couldn’t get it out of my mind so I’m going to go ahead and put it like this that was a pretty dumb ending.
In short David Gordon green is a horrible absolutely horrible filmmaker
