Over at horrorcostumeindex.com it says the knives used for Kills are “8” J.A. Henckels International Chef’s Knife and an 8" chef’s knife of an unknown brand." Is the site not updated or is my info wrong because I heard the other knife is the 5173577 Farberware Edgekeeper 8 Inch (https://www.amazon.com/Farberware-5173577-Edgekeeper-Riveted-Self-Sharpening/dp/B086QN9JFV). Can any please confirm this?

For the final scenes it’s a Laguiole en Aubrac chef knife.

If you’re referring to The Definitive Guide to All Halloween 1-11 Masks, Boots, Coveralls, and Knives PIC HEAVY on here it stops at Halloween 2018.
Three “main” knives were used. The guide here is not being updated which was already addressed, and the costume index is getting an update as well.
The main knife used for the film is the 8” Henckels. The Faberware is very briefly used when he stabs Cameron, and the Laguiole en Aubrac is used for the final scenes.

I think this is the Fiberware knife used in the first part of the movie. It matches better than the Henckels
I’d definitely does. Matches better to the handle prop also, as well as the shape of the heel. I think you’re right! Great eye (no pun intended)!

Interesting. Some here say it was in Kills, but you don’t believe the ja henckels international knife wasn’t used at all. If I’m not mistaken it was definitely used in 2018 though. The two Farberware knives look very similar except for the sheath and the edgekeeper looks like a rounded handle and the other is flat. I see the edgekeeper for sale everywhere, but I can’t find the Farberware one you said was used in the movie for sale.
Far left was not used. Second to left can be seen when Cameron gets stabbed in the stomach and it takes a few seconds. That’s the only time I can see that knife used. The other two, as you said, are the main ones.

The other user presented a knife (the farberware without the modern handle design) that more closely matches the Kills knife than the henckels. I posted that the Henckels was the main knife used in Kills before he presented the other knife which I previously was not aware of. My latter post is correct, and the costume index has not been updated since I’ve been a little busy today.

I have two screen shots on my phone of Cameron getting stabbed by Michael. The file is too big to add to this post so when I get a chance I will retake the photos. But in the photos you can match the bolster when being stabbed and butt of the knife as Cameron takes it out to the Fiberware on the right in the photo. It does not match the Edgekepper version.
