H6 - I love the mask in this film, and I Love the scene where he slaughters all of the people in the operating room
H20- I love the Winston mask, and I love a lot of the photography in the film, I also like the Psycho homage
H8 - I liked the mask a lot, and I like Brad Loree’s portrayal of the shape.
RZ1 - I guess the part that did it for me in this film was the young Michael scenes on Halloween when he finally snaps, I also like the scene where he kills the kid in the woods
RZ2 - I liked the scene in the field with the two rednecks in the truck. I liked a couple of the kills too.

Let’s hear what you liked about each film. It can be a particular scene, or an actors portrayal of a role, or lighting, kills, anything. Let’s hear about it.

H1 - the way the mask looked in certain scenes?
H2 - the blood tears scene , the way they used the effect for the running tears
H3 - the concept?
H4 - THE VIBE!
H5 - the mask!
H6 - the killings!!
H20 - michaels escape
H8 - Michaels Comeback
H9 - THE agressiveness
H10 - The ending!

H1 - pretty much everything

H2 - the atmosphere, the soundtrack, Dick Warlock as Michael Myers

H4 - The Midwestern feel, the ending, the acting, Reverend Sayer!

H5 - Don Shanks as Myers, the laundry chute scene, the mask, Danielle Harris, Loomis going completely insane

H6 - The sheer brutality, the editing (yes, I prefer the T cut), the ending, the atmosphere, the kills

H20 - the Winston mask, the ending, the acting, that suspense and interesting characters are used instead of buckets of gore, the final battle between Laurie and Michael, the inclusion of a Creed song (I’m a huge fan)

Resurrection - doesn’t exist

RZ 1 - the first half, the brutality of Michael, Malcolm McDowell, the soundtrack

RZ 2 - the surreal hallucinations, Michael’s new look, the atmosphere, the kills, Malcolm McDowell, Scout Compton, the ending

Doesn’t exist is not what you liked about the film. There had to be at least one thing. That’s why I asked NOT to post what you didn’t like. Come on there has to be 1 thing that you did like about H8

haha sorry, it was just a joke.

It’s cool Bro, I was just poking at ya. No offense intended here. So, what was the one thing you did like about H8…and don’t say the end

H1- originality, the mask, music, most everything was a go (my #1 favorite)
H2- again a spin off of the 1st majority of it is timeless (my #2 favorite)
H3- i still cant really dig it
H4- loomis was still cool and they keep the theme and a good fall atmosphere
H5- now we’re getting pressed, i agree with nosferatu, the laundry chute was the best scene in it, to me loomis over played his character by that point, he was too crazy acting.
H6- cant do it. that movie flat out sucks.
H7- return of jamie lee curtis, the purse snatching scene, the rest is kinda hit and miss (but my 5th favorite in the series)
H8- i like the fact that they tryed to make michael just be the boogie man again, unfortunately they failed miserably with the yo mtv raps plot. fu*king sucks.
RZ Halloween- best since H2. michael was scary again. he did things ive been wanting to see michael do. it was like a Halloween and a michael ive been waiting to see for along time. ( my 3rd favorite Halloween of the series)
Rz H2- again Michael is a monster. kill scenes were crazy brutal. to me alot of scenes with michael seemed like behinds the scenes footage of what michael myers does any time in any installment of the series when he is not in haddonfield stalking his victims. (my 4th favorite in the series)

H5- now we’re getting pressed, i agree with nosferatu, the laundry chute was the best scene in it, to me loomis over played his character by that point, he was too crazy acting.
H6- cant do it. that movie flat out sucks.

 He hates those movies! ah-la Steve Martin’s “He hates those cans”
I do concur to a degree Bro.

Hmmm…Brad Loree did a pretty good job as Michael. And the opening of the movie isn’t too bad. Everything else pretty much sucks though. I just prefer to think that Michael died in H20.

There…that wasn’t so bad was it? I liked the opening scene at the mental clinic too. Harold rocked!

H1 and H2 - Just about everything. I view this as one complete movie.
H3 - Kept a Halloween feel in visuals and sound. Tom Atkins is always a plus.
H4 - The overall vibe of the movie was the last really solid Halloween movie.
H5 - Donald Pleasance
H6 - The creepiness of the whole movie
H20 - Although not perfect did have a bit of a “return to basics” feel.
H8 - The first 15 minutes
H9 - Michael was scary again, no fighting rappers
H10 -The security guard scene and the way Michael looked peering in the window in the rain.

AMEN!

Those were great Benny. Really for me the first 15 minutes of H8 had a cool creepy vibe. That is for sure the best part of the film. And I agree 100% when it comes to H4. I remember when I went to the theater to see it for the first time I was excited as hell. And when I walked out I was refreshed. Michael was back…after 7 years.

H1 - The end after he’s gone from falling off the balcony and the empty shots of all the locations with him breathing in the backround
H2- The Shape walking into Laurie’s room and stabbing the pillows on the bed
H3- Dick Warlock as a killer android
H4- The return of The Shape on the silver screen
H5- The Shape kills the old man after 1 year of being comatose
H6- The scene where he chases them through the mental hospital and smashes that dude through the locked cell door, and the mask was better than the previous 2.
H20 The return of Laurie (implausible as it was) and the evil in his eyes after he was trapped and reaching out at the end.
H8- Busta Rhymes of course :unamused: Actually when The Shape gives that nutjob in the asylum his knife after Laurie is killed.
Remake 1- Danielle Harris breasts  and the Grizzly Joe scene in the bathroom
Remake 2- never seen it

RZ H1’s Joe Grizzly (Ken Foree) also appeared in TCM3 Leatherface 1990 as Benny the survival guy. Much bigger role in that movie. And he shoots up Leatherface’s house with an M16…

H1: The concept of a guy like Michael Myers. The mask, the knife, the coveralls. Just about every shot in the houses. And, kind of goes without saying, THAT theme.

H2: Michael and Loomis “dying”. Also nice to be reminded that a sequel starting the very moment the previous film ended isn’t a new phenomenon. God, I hope I spelled that right.
Also, the security gurad vs hammer. OUCH!

H3: Didn’t see it.

H4: The vibe. The rain. The darkness. Wasn’t too keen on Michael here though. Can’t win em all. Also, it’s one of the few movies that felt like Halloween. As in late October. Can’t really say it in any clearer fashion than that.

H5: Michael. Not so much the mask but, rather, the character. He’s pretty mean here. The laundry shute scene was pretty goddamn spooky. Helps that I’m a tad on the clustrophobic side. Also, while I’m of two minds about this, I did like Michael doing a lot of driving. I like that this movie, to me, made him feel a bit more human. Especially the shot of him in jail.

H6: Michael’s brutality. Mean motherfucker here, especially what he did to Jamie. The O.R massacre was pretty damn awesome too. And Paul fuckin’ Rudd! I watched this movie right before I Love You Man.

H20: Jamie Lee Curtis. I was just happy to see her again. Michael was pretty rockn’ roll here. Except, if this is a straight sequel from Halloween 2, I didn’t really buy that he would be anything but a busted up Michael Myers. You know, like Zombie’s :stuck_out_tongue: No disrespect. Just a nitpick. I loved the Halloween theme and the opening credits. In fact, that whole opening bit. It was like a re introduction to a real world Michael Myers . Plus, in my view Resurrection shoudn’t have happened. Ergo, I loved how brutally Laurie got closure.

HR: The opening 15 mins. After that, well, the lighting wasn’t bad and I liked the score. Aside from that it was kinda meh. Nice that I almost saw Starbuck’s tits =D

RZ1: To start, three words: Joe Grizzly Bitch! Let’s see. I liked how the movie was shot. The colours, the vibe. Also, and this is something I 've found with all of Zombie’s movies (aside from Hof1KC) the violence wasn’t fun. It was violent. FYI tot he world, I’ve been stabbed. Shit hurts! I liked how pain wasn’t glamourized. It was dirty, and mean. Michael was fan bloody tastic. Some might take issue with his size. I got over it when I saw his performance.

RZ2: Just how unique it was in terms of slasher movies I’ve seen. Very character driven. I loved loved loved Michael Myers here. His brutality, savagry and obvious psychosis. He scared the crap out of me. Also, I was shocked at how emotional I was during this movie. Annie’s death I loved. I loved it for the same reason I love the violence in these movies. These people are being murdered. Brutally. They leave friends behind, family. It was painful to know that it happened and how it happened. Also, I was shocked by how much I liked Brad Douruf as Brackett.

Peace!

H1- The suspense
H2- The mask
H3- The pumpkin masks
H4- The Scene where there are 4 different Myers
H5- The scene where Michael scrapes Michaels car with that tool
H6- Loomis
H20- LL Cool J
H8- The plot
H9- How they give insight to Young Michael Myers
H10- The scene where he stomped on that guys head

H1: The fact that it was “The Strangers” of 1978. Just some random guy who decided to go after these random kids for no particular reason. The guts and gore was at an absolute minimal. What you didn’t see made what you did see scarier.

H2: Michael gained weight in 10 minutes!!! lol jk jk I liked the playground that a hospital provides.

H3: Really?

H4: Just the Halloween time vibe. Not much can be said for this one.

H5: Same goes for H4 but the laundry shute scene made me panic when I first saw it. And little Danielle Harris knows how to freak the fuck out and make it real.

H6: The mask… That’s it.

H7: LAURIE’S BACK TO KICK ASS!!! The table scene always gives me super fucking chills!

H8: Ummm… If the first 15 minutes were the whole movie, that would’ve been great.

RZ: It was real… Like previously stated, nothing was glamourized. It was dark, brutal, dirty. I enjoyed hearing Michael grunting when he killed cuz we’ve been missing that since H1. Michael was a big, mean, brutal mother fucker and I loved it! Plus Scout Taylor Compton is a sweet-heart. (Love ya’ Scout!)

RZ2: Rob Zombie didn’t give a shit about anything. He did what he wanted to do and made it his own. For that I applaud him for having bigger balls than any other director would’ve. This is HIS Michael, HIS story, HIS movie (period)

H1 & H2 = EVERYTHING!
H3 = The Plot…& it shall continue :smiling_imp:
H4 = Jamie Lloyd at the end! :supz: Also, the somewhat subtle “Lindsey” cameo.
H5 = Tina :stuck_out_tongue: …& Max as well as Mike’s car! :sunglasses: But mainly, The Man in Black :smiling_imp:
H6 = The fact that Tommy Doyle was brought back into play.
H7 = Michael & Laurie back at it again…what’s NOT to like?
H8 = Katee Sackhoff…at first she was the girl I WANTED to die first, but now she’s Starbuck, so it’s cool :sunglasses:
RZ Remake = Daeg & the mask…nuff said :open_mouth:
RZ H2 Remake = The masks & some of the kills…& the possibility that it was all a strange delusion of Laurie’s (only saw it once, so still unclear on this one.)

H1-purely and simply perfect
H2-showed more of michael, kills,DW potryal, everything also perfect
H3-masks, “stop it” at the end
H4-return, good movie
H5-also thought it wasn’t bad brought closure to number 4
H6-mask was good
H20-the mask, back to basics, JLC
H8-first 15 min
RZH1-theatrical version escape and when the kills start rolling in
RZH2-Brutal kills, and he’s down to business, original music at the end
