The ID is the closest thing to a perfect Myers mask that we have in my own opinion. That first pic in this thread of JC’s ID rehaul blew me away, idk how I haven’t seen that yet
I’ve no idea which mask is which? but if you took the eyes and hairline from the mask on the left and put it on the mask on the right… then damn, you’ve got the perfect CS mask IMO.
Mask on the left is Kirk Stretch. Mask on the right is ID.
The only thing that bothers me about the Kirk stretch is that definition, those lines on the right cheek. It kills the mask for me personally. I find them distracting.
I’d also go with ID on this…KS has a bit too much definition compared to what you see on-screen…

I agree 100% about the too much definition thing. It is on both sides though imo
It depends on the scene/shot too…ID is a little lacking in definition for some shots of the hero for sure, but overall for a worn look from the right distance, lighting etc, it works better for capturing the movie castle stretch look…
Something has always looked off to me with the ID. It looks a little cartoonish. From the sides it looks great though. The Kirk Stretch is just the image of H1 for me.
I’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. Nothing cartoonish about it to me. Best mask I’ve owned since 1988. Screams '78 for me

If it’s good to you then no one can tell you any different! I suppose it’s a good thing we have a huge variety of choice in the hobby because I guess we all see our own thing from 78. Personally I can’t see it in the ID, but definitely in the Kirk Stretch! You’re lucky to own one! Hopefully I will one day
