Hey everyone, I wanted to share that some time after I made this topic I messaged Nik on FB messenger and described what I want and he recommended me his new Shape 78 so after taking time to save a little money together, I pulled the trigger on a pre-order of The Shape 78. So this is the year I get my own REAL Myers mask!
Awesome man, I ordered one as well just a last week or so. Going off his other work you won’t be disappointed.

No but he told me to check back with him in about 4 weeks.
exactly what he told me and Spacebass, I’m gonna check back on the 18th which is exactly one month away from the order, he said he would show me the progress
I ordered mine on the 16th and he told me the same thing so we’ll be getting progress pictures about the same time. I’ll definitely post them as I get them. Can’t wait!
Still nothing here, I wonder how long it takes him to paint a mask
I sent him another reference picture about 4 or 5 days ago and he answered almost immediately and said just remind him how i want it when he starts sending me progress pictures. He told me he’d be giving me a progress update in 4 weeks when I ordered so I figure St. Patrick’s Day should be a good time to check in with him again. I’d love to get mine finished by another artist eventually, but since I’m having Nik finish it, I think I’ll have him go on the conservative with the weathering. The eye cuts are the only thing im kind of concerned about. If they’re too big, it can change the whole look. But I don’t really know how to bring that up with him. That’s kind of something you either get right or you don’t, and I don’t want to offend him.
After 4 weeks (January 18th) he said the pull was ready and that he’d send me some pix when painted, still no update since then, might send him the reference pix again later on just to keep in contact with him and see if something is up.
I ordered February 10th so I’m supposed to message Nik next Sunday to see how the progress is. Is it too late to send him a reference picture? For the most part I have enough trust that I’ll be satisfied with the end result and I love the pictures of the finished example of the Shape 78 he shared on facebook. EDIT: I requested some flesh tones, light weathering and blonde Kirk hair misted black to appear darker but I didn’t say anything about the eye cuts.
I’m still debating on whether to mention the eye cuts. I don’t want to request slightly smaller ones and have them too small. The first time I’ve ever thought they were a little too big were was the pictures of the Shape 78 someone just received on this forum. The weathering I also requested light/subtle. I have one example pic for the hairline, one for the weathering. I guess I’ll just trust him with the eye cuts.

I think he’s referring to the pictures in the thread “New Nag mask Shape 78”
The only pictures available are the ones from Nikos and the JC version from Scott’s raffle, both posted on the thread.
