Just out of curiousity, who do you think portrayed Michael Myers the best?
Gonna’ be good ol’ Nick for me. There just an effortlessness to him. JJC was great in the new one though too, for sure. I like Dick’s walk at times as well, but not as a whole.
I gotta go with Nick Castle. To me, it seemed like every actor to play the role after him were putting on an act of how they think Myers should walk/move, whereas Castle was simply told by Carpenter to “just walk”. Don’t get me wrong, each actor has done a great job putting their own spin on it, but it’s Castle for me.

Idk… I don’t really see Warlock replicating Castles walk. I think Warlock done his own thing!!
Yep, he did his own thing. I often hear complaints about Warlock’s slow walking, but in a way, it seems natural to me. In my mind, after Loomis shot Myers off the balcony, that killed what humanity was left in Myers, so when H2 begins, he’s basically a corpse being driven by evil, hence the slow, robotic walk and movements.

But I always thought as Warlock himself said a injured Myers. He said it in a video but for the life of me I can’t recall which one. I saw it last year!
Great choice my friend! I agree! Nick Castle really played Michael Myers in such a way that made the Character really come to life. I mean when I was a kid out of all the Michael Myers that we’re played by differect actors, Nick Castle’s Michael Myers always gave me the creeps! Always used to scream out Michael Myers is in the dark and scare my brother and cousins and get them running al the time aha
Awesome choice!! I agree Nick Castle’s Michael Myers really set the standard of who Michael Myers is and not to mention mask wise I find the Captain Kirk mask is a lot more creepy and suited for Michael Myers more than the other masks but that’s just my opinion. 
Great choices Caleb! Nick Castle has to be my all time favourite. There’s just a creepiness about the way he motioned himself in the original that I feel other Michael Myers are lacking. As well as I find the original H1 mask to be the best. I really enjoyed Dick Warlock’s portrayal as well! He did a great job!

It has to be Nick castle. He is effortlessly the shape, everyone else is trying to copy him. In saying that James Jude Courtney just might be my favourite!
Castle, Courtney then Warlock. Depending on the day might put Warlock ahead of JJC, although I felt Warlock moved a little too slow during some of the chase scenes, but to me there’s no question who number one is. The rest I don’t care much for
The reason Warlock Myers moved a little slow he was injured lol! Shot 7 times, needle in the neck, jabbed in the eye, fall out of 2 story house lucky to be moving at all lmao! Some say he was like zombie more like a very lucky person to still be alive thanks to the fuel of hate and evil!! I love the way Warlock played it. 
I’m clearly in the minority but I really liked JJC the best. I like his size, and he has the general feel of Castle with a touch more urgency and brutality. His portrayal when he walks down the driveway and kills the woman with the hammer and then walks to the next house and kills the neighbor lady is solid gold. Warlock is by far my least favorite.

This was hard to choose. I’m a huge “original is better” kind of guy. But there weren’t that many scenes in H1 where we could really see Michael walking or moving around. Just a lot of lights and shadows with glimpses of Michael here and there. But in H2 we saw a lot of Michael walking around in the hospital and moving in all sorts of ways. And imo… Dick Warlock knocked it out of the park with creepiness. He didn’t try to replicate what Castle did. He did his own thing. And it was really good. So I voted for Dick Warlock. I think he made a better Myers. Sorry Nick 
I myself usually go with original is better and in this case ORIGINAL IS BETTER. Nick Castle all the way. I have two words for you. " head tilt " one of the most if not most iconic traits of the Shape character that EVERYONE who cosplays the character at one time or another has done the head tilt . For those who say they haven’t you’re lying lol even Dick Warlock used THE HEAD TILT. the head tilt he got from Nick Castle. And let’s not forget the classic " jack in the box " scene in the backseat of the car in the Wallace’s garage…for years when I would watch the movie on VHS that was always one of my favorite scenes, but seeing it in widescreen for the 1st time on DVD was incredible. You don’t see the popping up in the backseat like that when the movie is panned and formatted for TV… all in all his movements were just so fluid and natural. I love Dick Warlock. I think Dick is great but not like Castle . Like I said "HEAD TILT " enough said 
For me Tyler was the best tied with James. I don’t know why so many people credit Castle when a lot of iconic scenes from that film are other people.
