WHo's buying H2 on Blu Ray Today? Post here

I will be handing over the Ca$h today  and I am sure many of you are too. I can’t wait to see how crystal clear some of my fav scenes are and how crisp the soundtrack will be. If your buying it today post here :sunglasses:

I wish but my only options around my area are Wal-mart and Best Buy and they aren’t going to be there the first day I looked online. I’m guessing early to mid October which is fine I just watched H2 last week. I’ve been hearing from people that the PQ is good with minor print damage it sounds like it’s somewhere around the thing 1981 in terms of Picture. We shall see

I’ll be heading over to FYE on my lunch break today to pick it up

i am going as soon as Best Buy open its doors today. fingers crossed it will be crystal clear.

Kinda bummed, I’m broke till thursday.

AHHH THE JOYS OF WORKING @ BEST BUY, ALREADY GOT IT :smiling_imp:
WATCHING IT TONIGHT

I’ll be at Best Buy as well. Good times today! :drinkers:

On my way to get it now!

Going to get it in just a bit!

Hopefully I’ll get it today, if not today, soon. …ANDY

i have been to 3 Best Buys, 2 Meijers and a Walmart (and i HATE Walmart)…NOTHING! plenty of stupid Thor & X-men in stock though. i am EXTREMELY irritated! i just ordered it on Amazon. i guess they don’t think people in Michigan like Halloween. GGGRRRRRRRR!!!

mike

LOL, I work there too, at the headquarters here in Canada. I held it in my hands at midnight last night, as I was there for a late-night release of NHL 12, and I didn’t get it - just because I had pre-ordered it and it’s shipping out. Hopefully it will land here today.
how was it Jim?

I couldn’t find it anywhere either. A little irritated, but at the same time I don’t mind waiting a bit to get it as I enjoy watching them in October anyways.

I am anxious for a site to post a review though. bluray.com would be ideal as they post actual hd screen shots.

Walmart didn’t have it, but luckily I had enough time on my break to swing by FYE and they had it on sale for $15. Gonna watch it tonight, probably twice

I ordered mine last Month on Amazon, way cheaper then buying it at Best Buy, sorry Jimmy , I paid like 15.97 including shipping, not a bad deal, hopefully it will be here tomorrow…Dean

Snuck the Blu Ray into the lounge area at work where there’s a player and checked out the special features… the deleted scenes and alternate ending are in standard definition but the “Terror in the Aisles” documentary has been upgraded to 1080p. Not sure why they didn’t just go ahead and upgrade the deleted scenes to HD but there ya go.

The alternate ending was OK (key phrase: “WE MADE IT!”).

I just called and had me a copy of it reserved at Best Buy! Will be picking that bad boy up after work. Made sure the woman told me a few of the cast members as I did not want to be reserving Rob’s H2 on Blu-Ray as I already have that.

Can’t wait to check it out!!

Deleted scenes (spoiler alert?):

\

  • Doctors undressing Laurie after her tetanus shot
  • Jimmy asking a nurse what Laurie’s injuries are
  • Dr. Mixter acting strange and shaking at Laurie’s bedside
  • Mrs. Alves on the hospital phone trying to reach Laurie’s parents at the party
  • Additional scene of Jimmy walking into Laurie’s room, tells her Michael Myers is dead, she doesn’t believe him, screams “HE’S NOT DEAD! HE WON’T DIE!” a few times and has to be restrained. (I love this scene!)
  • Deputy talking with Loomis about Michael after leaving the morgue.
  • The two nurses discuss the break-in at the storage room and the previous scene where Laurie had to be restrained.

today is my 13th year wedding anniversary …hopefully best buy or frys has it in my area…happy anniversary to me!

Not sure at all if its the case, but a lot of the times deleted scenes are sourced from video masters, as the 35mm sources (which is needed for a proper HD transfer) are usually lost or destroyed.
