The rest are in no particular order and of course it always depends on the conversion/finishing of the mask as well as size.
JC DB2, JC 2K, Ultimate Nightmare (yours is a beast), JC PS 78, MMK (Brian just got a real nice copy)
I didn’t include the usual Castle, 98 P, Creep, because I’ve owned all of these and though they made great display pieces…I could never pull off costume shots that satisfied me. There were things I didn’t like about my 2K & MMK while worn also. I’m just not that much into display pieces. For me the true test is how it looks while being worn. This is why the JC ID is my top dog. Not just because I own one, (well…two lol)but in all the years of me suiting up, it’s the first one that when I look at the pics, I’m like yeah…that’s Michael Myers

Listen, I couldn’t tell you what NAG offers beyond the ones I see posted or know the differences between them all. His catalog is crazy big. I’m not a fan of that guy, but what I do know is a mask that looks the part when I see it.
JC finishes on these masks across the board.
- ID
- DB2 (Lance’s old copy in particular)
- 75K Castle
- Ultimate Nightmare (Void’s copy)
- PS78
I don’t know that I’ve seen another Ultimate Nightmare besides yours, Void, but every time I see yours I think that’s the mask that would get me to own a NAG piece.
I considered adding the 98 Proto to my list, but I’ve seen them look both terrific and terrible. I don’t know if he offers different sizes and that plays into the inconsistency or what, but sometimes they look like the greatest mask I’ve ever seen, and other times they look like hot crap even with a good finish.
4 Stamp honorable mention.
Sam Samhain’s finish work honorable mention. His work is excellent if you dig a grungy H1. I love a grungy H1, but JC sits alone at the top for a clean finish with nuance and detail. JC has had the throne for a long time and for very good reason.

Of course all of my views are my from my personal experiences & viewpoint. I don’t mean to offend anyone who may differ. Just wanted to mention there are no wrong answers in this thread. It’s all totally subjective & that’s what makes the hobby so much fun. Just like music & movies. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions

Like you Jay my opinions are based on owning these masks and my own preference.. they are no way in any shape or form a dig at any other masks. If you love whatever you own and its myers for you then enjoy…the search is over.

Thanks for the call out on the nightmare. Like you and Jays IDs…theres nothing better than owning your own “personal” hero. JCs finishing on a great sculpt is pretty much the peak.

To help prove how subjective my opinion truly is, I think I’ve changed my mind already. Lol. I decided to scroll through JC’s Instagram (bad choice unless you wanna feel like you need to add 37 masks to your lineup) and found one that I feel tops the 75K Castle.
I initially picked the 75K Castle because it almost always looks good to my eye. I’ve seen far more of them that look great than not so great.
However… lol…
JC has some shots of a mask he finished almost a year ago… and Holy. Cannoli.
It’s a NAG piece called the RK75. I know nothing about it, but it’s a frikin’ dandy.
Here’s what he had to say about it:
I own the NAG RK75S #1 promo, its a very nice mask just not quite sure where it would sit in my poll 
I guess I would have to take more pics and play around with different looks. Its not had the JC treatment but I’m pretty happy with Niks work on this tbh.

Here’s My Personal List
- Nightowl Shat- This is my all time fav sculpt ever and honestly sometimes when i think of Michael i think of this sculpt before i think of the hero.
- NAG JA/75- There is genuinely something about this sculpt that i cannot for the life of me put my finger on but i just love it so much, definitely my grail piece and something i hope to get before i kick the bucket.
- KH SLE- Know as the most accurate sculpt according to Dick Warlock so out of principal i feel i need to include it.
- ID- Is there anything that I can say that hasn’t already been said, far and away the best castle stretch sculpt.
- NAG Shape 81- Like the ID but for H2, the best Warlock stretch mask ever made IMO.

Ah man….such a difficult decision with so many masks to choose from.
I’d usually be inclined to split the list between worn and unworn but sticking to the question I’d choose the following.

98 proto
Laser accuracy lineage to an original Kirk proto. To me a dead ringer for the unworn hero if finished correctly. Surface level screen matching imperfections make it all the better. Also a very versatile worn mask for H1 or H2 subject to head shape/size.

ID
My love for the 98 proto is well known but unless you’re castle himself you won’t get the same worn level of cinematic accuracy that is achieved by the ID. Yet to see a bad shot of this mask. Bonus you get the worn castle look to display.

I was less familiar with this particular mask until recently but I love the past history behind it. Much like the ID a passion project ground up sculpt of an original Kirk. Add a JC conversion and it’s a winning combination that looks great to my eye.

Ultimate Nightmare
A newbie and honestly a tough decision between this and a Castle 75k but I love what NAG did with this mask. Side-by-side with the cover photo it matches up beautifully. Appears to pull off various looks successfully when finished accordingly.

Adding the PS78 to my list mainly because of its ability to pull off a great stretch look reminiscent of the ID whilst remaining accessible for those seeking the stretch look for cons and general display.
Lots of great masks bias to H1 but thats my 2 cents.
