I think khamis Lee Curtis comment that this film connects the dots of forty years ago makes me feel like we are going to see lots of flash backs for sure I wish sherif bracket was in it I know the actor has retired but even just for one scene that would be everyone back that was in the original except Donald of course who could be shown running up the street after the shooting at the house or even a tiny moment of CGI or whatever . It’s the last time all these actors will come back for this so I hope he does as well obviously Linda and Annie are dead but maybe they could be shown at least Annie in a photo at brackets home if Laurie visits him .
My wish for the last film is Laurie and Michael end together and die I think that would be a fitting finish to these films.

I hope laurie dies in either kills or ends, I wanted her to die in kills but I feel it would be really cool with laurie and michael dying together in ends. The only thing is they could go for a cold and intense tone if laurie dies in a very haunting way at the end of kills, I’m torn here. What do you guys think should happen with laurie? I’m a little unsure myself

Very cool, looks like whoever is playing Myers in this flashback has a pretty good walk. I wonder what Lonnie was running from initially, since Myers came from the opposite direction. Maybe after Loomis says get your ass away from there?
I’m starting to think that this is earlier in the night before he gets shot
at the end. Michael is quite chipper and moving swiftly to have just been stabbed and shot multiple times. He definitely was showing the effects of those injuries at the end of H1. Here he seems uninjured, which implies to me that it’s sometime earlier in the night. Very interesting indeed.
I may be wrong but I’m beginning to suspect that Laurie may not be in Halloween Kills. Since the day they started filming, she has been all over the place promoting her new film Knives Out, with no mention of a start date for her to begin shooting. Now, maybe that’s how it’s designed, that she returns in Halloween Ends with Kills being about other Haddonfield residents dealing with their Myers trauma.
Just a thought.

She might have a smaller part in this one and a larger
Part in the next. It could just be that they are doing all the flashback stuff first before they move on to filming present day footage depending on how much flash back we are talking it might be say another week or More until she is needed on set. If this film is set on the same night her role will be smaller. As she would not be able to go after Myers as she needed to go to hospital but who knows
I hope this new trilogy when completed gets a box set song with 1978 so it’s one complete story . Then they can do whatever. I’m sure they will reboot and start again or possibly after resurrection but I think that ship sailed long ago
Oh yeah this is absolutely very true, also. I don’t know, I just have a feeling that if she is in the film, it’ll be nothing more than a glorified cameo and then in Ends, it’ll be her front and centre again.
Suppose we’ll find out in the coming days and weeks. These are exciting times!
So what does everyone think we might see in a flash back? Recreated scenes such as him been shot or him chasing Laurie and then we cut to trick or treaters seeing this and running away. The flashbacks might just be under a minute for the whole film. Does anyone think we will see more than that spread out in the movie?
She’s supposedly supposed to be on set next week. They’re setting up for the HMH shoot right now. She was only on set for like two weeks for H’18, she likes to shoot her scenes quick haha!
Haha! Good to know! That’s my query answered! Yeah, when I first heard that she was only gonna be shooting for 2 weeks on H18, I thought she was only going to have a very limited role in the film. Turns out you’re right in that she likes to get her stuff done quickly! I would not have liked to be the producer responsible for sorting the shooting schedule for her scenes! 
The more I think about H40, the less I like it. I was considering writing these sequels off completely, but the inclusion of Tommy and Lindsay has piqued my interest. I still feel they should have been at the heart of the last film along with Laurie and that the last movie spent too much time on uninteresting characters, but maybe this movie will make up for that. I’m sure there will still be the same feminist nonsense as in the first film, but I’m curious to see how Michael gets out of the fire and what Laurie does now that she believes he’s finally gone.
You good sir, my sentiments exactly. The feminist nonsense is just retarded and out of left field but the only reason i’m giving the sequel a second chance is just mainly jjc’s portrayal as myers, others i just couldn’t give two shits.
Feminist nonsense? Didn’t pick up on any of that. I feel like this movie stayed out of politics better than most Blumhouse movies. You should watch The First Purge. Phew. Reminder though, every Halloween film (except H3) is about a strong female protagonist
