***Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends Discussion***

No idea if this had been discussed, it probably hasn’t as I’m probably way off. I’ve noticed Judy Greer is listed in the Halloween Ends credits, and I was thinking at the end of Kills if she was still alive. Could it be that Laurie had a vision Of Michael killing her daughter that didn’t actually happen? Or maybe Michael did attack her but she survived? I mean how did Michael even back in to the house to kill Karen without Police or anyone else noticing?

As i said I’m probably way off and she’s probably just listed because of a flashback scene. just thought I’d pose the question though.

She’s stabbed to death in Kills, she’d just be playing her dead self when she is found murdered

I agree. Rob Zombie did a good job with the cinematography and visuals.

That last shot especially feels very Midwest October. The leaves littering the sidewalks, and the browned out tree leaves just makes the shot.

There has been a lot of talk recently about some crazy ending to this film from out of left field that no one expects.

Michael Myers going into space would most certainly be the last thing anyone expects.

but how?

The radio tower may hold the key.

Iam sure that most radio signals can travel into space.

So, the signal that records Michael killing at the radio station reaches into space, AND…

is recieved by an alien spacecraft near Earth. The aliens conclude that they must go down to Earth to stop him from killing anymore people.

They discover that he cannot be killed by natural means, and
that they are the only ones who can stop him for good.

It will be at the end of the film where it appears that Michael will get the best of Laurie, Allison, Hawkins, and Lindsey that the aliens will suddenly appear and save their lives by abducting Michael and bringing him to their space craft, never to return to Earth.

Remember, John Carpenter wanted to make Halloween film with Michael Myers in space!

What radio tower?

Oh I hope not. Jason X… just… please no. I don’t want to relive that again.

What if…michael dies. We know he’s dead, and the ending to Halloween Ends. is in another town in the u.s., shot in first person view of a different boy murdering his babysitter… :face_with_monocle::thinking::thinking::thinking:

Yea! And then they can make a new movie, and they can call it “Halloween: Resurrection”! That would be awesome!

I met Nick Castle on Sunday at Astronomicon, and since I arrived kinda early he didn’t have anyone in line so I was able to talk to him for at least about 10 mins or so. Asked about Halloween Ends and the new mask and he said that he has seen it, and it’s the same mask from Kills, just 4 years later…so I’m guessing more decayed with brownish dried blood.

Also asked him if he will be in it and he said as a cameo but will not be putting on the mask.

Not sure if all that’s common knowledge, since I’ve really tried to limit my exposure to spoilers for this installment, but thought some here might be interested.

?

That’s cool. Wish it was a fresh mask though I’m kind of over it already :frowning:

Thought the joke was pretty obvious. My apologies.

It might be a new mold from the studio but yeah, according to the timeline it’s supposed to be what’s left of the 78

I have no excitement for Jamie in this film, she’s an executive producer which already is enough issues in holding back DGG from making what he wanted to make, and she’s hyping it up again, anyone remember when the “Halloween: Inside Story” documentary came out and Jamie said that she didn’t know there was the clause in the contract that she can never kill Michael Myers and being clueless about it? she then also says that “I’m not gonna string along an audience again”

JLC talks out her ass every time she’s in one of these movies. H20 was “the best film in the franchise” (then later, just a paycheck movie and not something she really cared about). HR was “a great way to continue the series” (then later, a joke). But because she’s been a producer on these new ones (and surely gets a big chunk of the back end), of course she’s gonna keep hyping them as great. She gets to spew her message so of course she loves them. Yuck!

She may have handicapped DGG’s potential on these movies from a story standpoint, but from everything I’ve seen, he’s proven to not be right for Halloween. Zero atmosphere. Zero suspense. Bland beyond belief. Terrible dialogue (and terrible characters by extension). Etc. Etc. Etc.

It’s unfortunate that Malek doesn’t care about these movies half as much as Moustapha did. He’ll let anything happen so long as he gets paid (whereas Moustapha actually had lines he would not allow to be crossed).

I can’t wait until this utter dog**** trilogy is finished. Good riddance.

If it’s not not about:

It’s all about Nostalgia baiting with the original actors to rope in fans for their money, and literally really on said fans to break even in the box office, Malek just needs his money, rather than giving a crap about the fans, Jamie just does this for the money too, cause nobody wants to hire her as an actress anymore, JJC and some of the actors actually are passionate about the franchise, but have to get screwed by a crap script. I’ve seen better character development in Johnny Depps trial from Dr Shannon Curry, than Jamie Lee Curtis acting career. I just want to see Michael basically erase the Strode bloodline, cause it’s so annoying

Tell us how you really feel? Lol

In all honesty, I’ve enjoyed all but 2 Halloween movies. My main thing is, if Michael is awesome in it, I’ll enjoy it. There hasn’t been a really well made movie since the original IMO, so all the sequels, including this trilogy, don’t even real count. I just like to watch them due to my love of the first. These aren’t serious movies.
