***Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends Discussion***

Well don’t send that stuff to me man lol I still want to be kept in the dark with regards to this script specifics.

I’ll take it, too, if any of you have it

If anyone has the Ends script send it to me. thanks

Would love to read it too. Or maybe a synopsis if not available.

I’ll take it also pretty pleasssse

Everyone who wants to read the HE script, we should all branch out and search the internet. If one of us finds it, that person can PM it to the others who want it.

I’d love to read it as well if anyone has it. Thank you!

I am usually good at finding these things, but this is not easy this time. I am sure it will pop up though

I’m positive that at 11:59 P.M. in Ends, Myers looks at his watch and mumbles “Oh sh*t!” under his mask, and starts sprinting towards his house. Laurie and Allyson give chase and manage to trip him right before he gets to his door as the clocktower from Back to the Future strikes 12:00 A.M., signaling the end of Halloween and the beginning of November 1st. At that second, Myers explodes into a million pieces of pumpkin mulch. Laurie and Allyson both jump and give each other a high five, and the movie ends with a freeze frame when their hands meet, with all four feet off the ground. At that second, the chorus to Joe Esposito’s “You’re the Best” blares through the speakers. Roll credits.

If anyone finds it, send it, please! I’m gonna search for it myself.

i dont think i could ever read a script or an ending before seeing a movie haha to each their own but that would completely ruin it for me!

Totally agree, i’m avoiding info from kills and ends like crazy lol

Yeah man imagine going to watch your favorite film you’ve waited over two years for and knowing the whole movie… just seems crazy to me lol

Generally I agree with you. Normally I’m SUPER against spoilers. But for certain things I just don’t care. I’m not exactly fond of H’18 or this portrayal of Michael and Laurie and Haddonfield so I don’t care if it gets spoiled. It’s just kind of whatever.

Hell, I’m still salty AF that they claimed this was going to be the definitve sequel to H1 and brough back all these H1 people, then went and filmed on the east coast instead of in Pasadena. That’s a total slap in the face as far as I am concerned. If this was to be the definitive sequel to H1 then it should have been filmed in Pasadena, period. :imp:

Anyway, that’s just one issue of many.

Personally I love H40 and everything they did with it so I definitely don’t want to ruin it for myself anyway sorry you didn’t enjoy it.

I’ve always been weird in the way that I can read all the spoilers, but when I sit down to watch the movie, they all just kinda disappear in my head. Then after the movie I’m like " Oh,yeah, that didn’t happen how I saw it in my head" ,and can compare what I knew with what actually happened. But it never ruins the actual watching for me.

I just read the HK script and although it’s certainly an early draft the thing reads like shoddy fan fiction. Boy. SMH.

I’ve included absolutely NO spoilers but I do give my brief and general thoughts so I’ll black it out if you don’t even want to know those.

Highlight with mouse: The dialogue is really bad. Laurie reads like an SNL spoof version of T2 Sarah Connor. They really try to push the “angry mob” aspect but it doesn’t feel earned at all. There’s a lot of ridiculous conveniences and contrivances. There’s no mood or atmoshpere or suspense at all. There’s a number of parts where Michael feels really out of character and does things I would never imagine any other version of Michael doing, except for maybe RZ Michael.

The whole thing is extremely cringe, nauseating, and faceplam inducing. I kid you not, I’ve read actual fanfic that was better than this. Fanfic that nailed the characters better than this.

In terms how much this script engaged me and interested me while reading it, it was about on par with a JCPenney catalog. “This t-shirt comes in many different colors and sizes and is made with a 50% cotton / 50% polyester blend. The fabric helps to wick moisture away from your body so you’ll never have to worry about those embarassing sweat stains again. – Upon checkout don’t forget to use your holiday coupon and we’ll include an extra 15% off the purchase price…” It’s the type of writing you just mindlessly get through. It doesn’t grab you at all or make you want to turn the page.

Overall, I felt nothing. Nothing but disgust and anger. Although it’s not nearly as outlandish as the script Moustapha threw across the room it feels way more amateurish and mind numbing.

If you can believe it, Rob Zombie wrote a better script than this.

I hope the movie is better but based on the trailer I’ve already picked out numerous spots from the script in it so I don’t think it will be. It might be slightly touched up but I’m guessing it won’t be much. Ugh…

What script got thrown across the room? And idk man I’ve talked to some diehards who got to see the screening and they said it was absolutely amazing. I knew from the start without hearing anything that this would be an all out movie with not much stalking… I’ve also heard if you’re looking for a movie that sort of shadows the original then this film isn’t for you, I’m open to a change I don’t need the original every flick. Wasn’t a huge h18 fan but I’ll check this out and feel like I’ll like it

It was one of the earlier H6 scripts prior to Daniel Farrands coming on. Michael was a hobo and travels into virtual reality or some nonsense. Moustapha rightfully chucked the thing across the room because he was so disgusted with it.

I hope it all comes together on the screen but just based on what I read, it’s a long shot. It wasn’t good. Yeah, there’s a lot of balls to the wall stuff but a lot of it feels just so out of character for a number of the people who show up, including Michael.

I’ve read a few of the other movie scripts (H4, H6, HR, RZH) and let me tell you, I can say with a clear conscience that this one was by far the worst. Even worse than the HR script. (I somehow doubt the movie will be as bad as HR, but the script is another story). On the flip side, in H4 and H6 Michael seems totally in character, as did all of the other characters, and I could really feel the suspense building and the dread seeping right off the page… that was totally missing from this one. (The RZH script didn’t have the suspense or dread of the H4/H6 scripts but overall it was much better written than HK. The HR script didn’t have the suspense or dread either but it just seemed like a smoother and more natural read)

Oh so you’re saying the script itself was bad… well I just can’t help but be excited for this movie. I don’t think many movies are worth a two year wait so automatically know I’ll be let down there… but I kind of like seeing Michael do weird shit we’ve never seen before, I’m a weirdo in that regard. Lol
