Honest opinions on Sinister Studios?

For one, like the Warlock, it’s a horrible recast, however with the fear, it’s essentially really distorted, compared to something that naturally looks stretched in it’s sculpt, like the Creep, or the Second Stab

Interesting I will keep that in mind when I’m shopping around for a good Indie H1.

I was looking at the hiro and obsession and they just looked off to me. The price was the only thing I liked and the wait time. For 75 bucks more I got a H1SM that looks more accurate and has lineage to the Medley Kirk.

I think Rowland Kelley now. Originally the H2SM was a retooling of the HMK then the H2SM was retooled and skimmed down to make H1SM. Here is a pic of its original Kirk lineage

Agree wholeheartedly about The Hiro in that there are some good and not so good copies. I really like my Hiro and display as my H1. I have other H1s, but for now, this is the one I like the most. Like any other collector though, I’m always looking for a better one.

Yep, chad (CBK) owned a Nightmare master and had someone i cant remember who at the moment retool it into the Hiro.

Yes it did, but i don’t it anymore. Those pics are prob over 10 years old now, found them in my old photobucket.

Well, I just got my rehauled 78 by a forum member named Danny Caraballo and must say it looks great. Whether it looks better than my HIRO is up for debate, but it is a vast improvement over it’s stock appearance. I won’t lie, I love it.
