Yeah man it’s crazy. Love your video man. You diffently got a bigger copy than me. Even though mine is on the small side it fits me perfectly. I love it! Next week I’m going to Spirit Halloween and may just pick up another one if I can find a good detailed one and size wise like mine. Btw do you think I got the Castle mold and you got the JJC mold or do you think it’s just something going on with the many, many molds they use??
Thanks I appreciate it [emoji106]
Is there two different molds? I thought JJC was the one with the smaller head but I don’t know.
By the way my Spirit Halloween stores are finally opening and they are waiting on stock. So far they only have the H78, H2 and H40 masks but not a single kills seen yet.
The Castle is the small mask and the JJC is the narrow bigger mask. Least that’s from what I remember Kasts Masks saying on Instagram. I sure hope my local Spirit Halloween has them in stock. I would love to be able to see all the different paint jobs.
just testing out some 78 costume shots. I put a little foam pad in the chin and a foam pad on the top of the mask to try and give it an emphasized castle stretch. I’m thinking about picking up another 78 from spirit this year to give it another go.
Well guys I definitely think there’s some truth to the different size Kills moulds.
So the one that I posted earlier up there in the thread is the one I ordered directly from trick-or-treat studios. That one was definitely about 24 1/2 inches and just perfectly sized for me.
However recently my Spirit Halloween stores opened up and I was able to grab a copy from them as well.
They actually had five in stock I took the one that I thought look the best.
So first off comparing it to the first when I got the paint job is much much better it looks way better in my opinion. However as soon as I put it on it was barely bigger than the H40 2018 mask. It definitely was still a little bigger but not much at all it was almost as tight as my H40.
So I guess it’s a good thing I sent the one with the paint job that’s not as nice and that fits my head better for a RemZap Kills rehaul.
Anyway if you want to have a closer look at it I also did a video for this mask.
Long story short I highly recommend you try on your Kills mask before sending it away for a rehaul or purchasing in person to try on because the sizes definitely do vary a bit.

From TOTS direct via online on the left with the neck tag on it, it’s easily 24.5”
TOTS from Spirit Halloween on the right with the head hanger tag is just over 24”.
Also note the difference in paint jobs and detail.
Glad I sent the one on the left for the rehaul as it’s the right size for me and the paint job is definitely weaker.
There absolutely are different sizes. I now have four of these masks. Two fit small, and two fit bigger. I have a 24" head and the two smaller ones are skin tight, where as the two bigger ones are against my face, but not tight at all.
I noticed that the smaller ones have the rounder shape face, and the bigger ones have the longer face. Now this may just be my copies, but that’s how mine are.
Hi everyone. This was my first attempt at a mask rehaul. I just followed the Nick Mulpagano videos.
I think I may have combed too much hair out when I first bought it because I had a lot of noticeable bald spots. I ended up gluing all of the hair that was combed out back on in a few new layers but he has a full head of hair again
So my first and only h40 rehaul I tried with a base coat of white and then I tried the dark wash for the cracks like Nick Mulpagano but it didn’t work for me well. I was thinking would it work if I start with a base coat of black and then paint it white? I am thinking about trying the dark wash technique again but if I do I would like to know how long I should wait before wiping away. I am using nightshade paints.
I have re-hauled one 2018 mask. My first attempt was as you describe-Solid white then a darker wash. I was not happy at all with the results. The second time I did a layer of dark, and slowly added the white/cream color. I was much happier with those results for what it’s worth.
