I think we should just form an email pool and create a virtual marketplace that way.

i was afriaid some major blow like this would hit eventually but i got to say im quite shocked to see this. legally there has to be away around this, but a legal way around ususally means ALOT of money for the underdog, which in this case is M-M.net.
i hate it for everyone but especially for new comers. remembering how i felt when i found this place, the dream come true, the land of milk and Myers masks, it was unreal. so i hate it for the folks who are just as big of fans as any of us here, but because of envious circumstances they wont be able to choose from the buffet of masks we once had.
im more thankful than ever to have gotten in on the deal when i did. some wouldnt consider my collection to be outstanding, but for me its a dream come true. looking back afew years ago i never thought i would own any thing like this yet alone have a collection of them 
these actions taken literally could keep some fans dream from becoming reality. very sad day for the community indeed.
with that said perhaps down the road things might change. but for now im damn glad i bought every mask i did, and probably shouldve got more.
doesnt mean a complete end, we still know some connects 
and for the most part we’ll figure out away to ‘trade’ amongst the board.
At this point I’m just thankful for what I have & hope all things pending go smoothly - there always seems to be something, but we always manage to work our ways through whatever it is somehow. That’s my 2 cents & back under my rock I go 
There just using strong arm tactics and its working .People would rather comply than chance the reprocussions.I cant blame derek though.I know its a headache.Take the mask the butcher.It does not resemble myers as far as facial features.Just because its painted white with hair gives trancas no rights to prohibit people from selling that mask.I think trancas is just pushing there weight around.

One thing I can’t seem to shake is the fact that the money made by Indie mask makers pales in HUGE comparison to the money they make on their mass produced masks. Why kill free marketing. Something just doesn’t add up to me. The whole rotten in Denmark thing ya know.

Really sad news, maybe I don’t write too much here but everyday I read this board for 1 hour. You have a great community here and they won’t change it. This will still be our home with or without classifieds, so it’s time to keep this great place alive and kicking.

What doesnt make sense is, this site isnt directly making money or profit from the classifieds, so this site shouldnt be threatened and can not legally be taken down. Ebay on the other hand, does proft percentages, and there’s no way theyre going to take ebay down. If this site were openly selling Masks on the front page and Derek was paying the bills that way, then I could understand. I think they are just bullying and really have no power to do what they say as far as shutting down a site.
What about people who have Myers tattoos? The tattoo artists should be sued as well? Lame.
So what I think we need to do now brothers is band together and figure out a way to keep it going, but we must respect dereks wishes, which he kinda took care of that with the classifieds. I know this is just a bump in our road, and well figure all this stuff out, but we all need to figure somthing out…Maybe just Post the Mask name and pics, and put pm me or something, I dont no, but lets brainstorm this brothers!

If you can’t sell Myers masks here then there should at least be a “Myers Mask Wanted” section- there’s nothing illegal about that.
