Did you rehaul yourself? Its really close just not sure of ’ laugh lines’ just the right side tho (mask right side not your right side when looking at it) i know it is kinda rough looking in the movie , its just such an enigma (the cheek lines ) on both wilburs and reshoot mask… also wondering when applying layers is it more like splotchy or smoothed brush stroke wise? There are alot of undertones . Ive seen cosplay chris remake H5 (awful mask) but he used splotchy brushing and brought out undertones wondering if H6 had this technique.
And yours is the H20 version right? (longer neck) but that right eyebrow is spot on to the reshoot look, hair style and hairline is really close , undertones look great. .
As for the eyes
I tnink its the way its shaded too its just a bit too dark close to eye ‘lids’. Lids seem to have a little breathing room on theatrical masks space between shading and curved inner eye shading. the left side of mask (mask left not your left) especially . Whats really missing is that trademark horn esque shadowing on left and right forhead and the center of the top of forehead shadowing /undertone. I say undertone bcause some of the aged pictures of theatrical masks seem to have blueish undertones so im wondering if it was intentional or did they use a wash of grey over top of those details like they used on laugh lines (cheek lines)… well keeping bluish undertones?

Not all these are screen masks but i think they are very close
Interesting points, I do not really see what you mean by laughter lines but however do get what you mean by the shading.
No I did not do any work on this mask, hallowFX made it with specifications that it looked a bad mofo
I will highlight in photos shortly so you can see the shapes im seeing …
Yes the horn esque mark on the forehead is in the mold and you can see it in the pictures. Its not so clear like you said because the shading could do with being a bit darker. But then not all of the movie masks had that heavy shading on the head.
You brought up some interesting points…probably the definitive thread on H6.
Thx man i appreciate that … we are just getting started lol.

So on the reshoot mask , (hospital scenes) the right "smile " line is not connected to to the cheek part so the curve is just a suggestion but when lit still creates the impression it is there because the mask has that cheek contour. On the wilbur mask its connected .(not shown) And on the left side the grey shading highlights the smile line a bit more. The hairline on yours is very close though and the textures of paint looks really close too.
Really interesting observations. Agreed the lighting enhanced a lot of the features and tbf the cheek line only connects because of the weathering but I deffo see the points you have made. If I took out a bit of the shading it would obviously not connect.
Are you planning on making your own part 6???
What HallowFX did with my mask was to base it on the movie reshoot mask, but to combine a lot of the features to create like the ultimate gnarly H6.
I specified that I wanted it battered as hell…just how the mask looked in the final scenes.
Yeah…I love the hair on this one, so messy and easy to tweak.
Yes i have done several attempts already at H6, profile pic was most recent attempt. Messed up the shading on forehead and right side of cheek. Should nail it this next go.
Agreed it does look gnarly!
Hey that looks real nice bud, have you posted pics of it on this thread?
Thank you!!! Greatly appreciated !! Could you please do me another big solid and give me the same treatment with the close up in basement kill scene (mask) and the scene in producers cut where micheal is frozen from magic stones lol (close up shot) . If you can think of any other scenes where the high def will help with a clear lighting shot of the mask that would be welcome too. (In both halves of movie , wilbur/reshoot mask as i want to do both) thx again . Ps , this shot in HD too .
Actually I have a WHOLE thread full of the EXACT references images for your needs! I have it posted here:
You, good sir, are legendary. I will need to push you a little however lol. Few specific shots i need your expertise. The one in the basement where you see the mask close after he stabs mr.asshole. some references here. Think there is a decent shot when he stabs the guy in the van too…to really push you try to get one without shadows on the mask lol so appreciate any help you give me here.

Also so glad you got that quick shot in the beginning somehow its so fast! Apologies i see you have a collection link . Bliss!! You rock!!!
Thank you again , you just made my day.
